3M Lawsuit: Company Agrees to $6.01B to Settle Nearly 260k Claims

[KILLEEN, Texas 08/30/2023] —  As a result of persistent legal efforts from firms like The Carlson Law Firm, 3M has agreed to pay $6.01 billion to settle the ongoing 3M lawsuit.

 

The legal action against 3M Company alleged that the dual-ended Combat Arms Earplugs provided to the U.S. military between 2003-2015 were flawed, causing hearing loss and tinnitus in many service members.

 

The Carlson Law Firm’s Ruth Rizkalla, Partner, served on the Steering Committee for the 3M Lawsuit that helped reach the $6.01 billion settlement.
