The Carlson Law Firm Gears Up to Serve Hundreds of Area Students Ahead of 24-25 School Year
WACO, Texas — Waco area families are invited to the 4th annual Great Backpack Giveaway at The Carlson Law Firm from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 20 at the firm’s Waco office, located 2420 I-35 S.
“We are thrilled to host this event for the fourth year,” said attorney Dominic Braus. “Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community, and we are committed to supporting students. Every year the goal is to do better than last year and with the headstart we’ve gotten, we’re on pace to serve a record number of students this year.”
The firm’s staff is expected to give at least 350 area students backpacks compliant with WISD requirements filled with the following supplies:
- 4 folders
- 4 composition notebooks
- 3 spiral notebooks
- 2 glue sticks
- 1 pack of paper
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 10-ct. of markers
- 1 12-ct. of pencils
- 1 12-ct. of colored pencils
- 1 box of crayons
- 1 pack of erasers
*Backpacks will be limited to 3 per family, while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a bag.
Attendees can also enjoy free Kona Ice, Toda Madre Cravings mini pancakes, games and prizes.
