The Carlson Law Firm Hosts Nonpartisan Voter Registration Drive to Empower Local Bell County Communities

[KILLEEN, TX] — The Carlson Law Firm is inviting the community to a nonpartisan voter registration drive from 3-5 p.m. on Sep 21, 2024 at its Killeen office located at 100 E. Central Texas Expy.

The firm chose the theme of “Informed. Registered. Voter.” The hope is to inspire and empower everyone in Bell County to register and exercise their right to vote.

“Voting is a fundamental right that gives every citizen the power to make their voice heard,” said Vicki Carlson, Partner. “Registering to vote varies from state to state and, in some cases, county to county, so we will have a Volunteer Deputy Registrar at our event to ensure that all of the boxes are checked and people can get registered before the October 5 deadline.”

In line with the festive spirit, the drive will feature a classic American cookout with grilled hotdogs, chips and free Kona Ice. Families are welcome, and parents can register stress-free while their children enjoy activities at the Kid Zone. As an extra perk, attendees who register will receive free, specially-designed registered voter swag to commemorate their participation.

“We’re excited to help make voter registration easier for those who might otherwise be overlooked and encourage their participation in shaping our communities,” said Lisa Griffin, Chief Operating Officer. 

Attendees will have the chance to verify their voter registration status, learn about early voting (October 21 to November 1), and get important information about polling locations and local elections. The deadline to register for the upcoming national election is on October 7.
