Join us on April 24 at Travis Park, where we’ll be selling our limited-edition 2025 pins and medals to benefit CASA of San Antonio, an organization devoted to advocating for children in the foster care system. This year’s medal design is a tribute to San Antonio’s vibrant spirit and the strength of the children served by CASA. The artwork features a caped child proudly wearing the Carlson Cares logo, standing before the iconic Alamo and a sky bursting with color and fireworks—a symbol of hope and a bright future. A floral border surrounds the medal, representing the care and unity of a community that believes in every child’s potential.

FIESTA traces its origins back to 1891, when a group of locals paraded in horse-drawn carriages to honor the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Today, it’s a city-wide explosion of parades, live music, vibrant food, and unforgettable characters—including the delightfully mischievous Order of the Cascarón (Los Feos) who roam the streets with confetti eggs in hand. In 2023, FIESTA drew over 2.5 million attendees, supported 3,464 full-time-equivalent local jobs, and activated more than 75,000 volunteers, underscoring its lasting impact on the local economy and spirit.
