Carlson Law Firm Attorneys Recognized by Bell County Bar Association

The Carlson Law Firm is proud to announce that two of our attorneys won recognition from the Bell County Bar Association. Steve Walden was named the 2020 Attorney of the Year by the Bell County Bar Association, and Cassandra Golder was named the 2020 Young Lawyer of the Year. 

Recognitions through the Bell County Bar Association are through nominations done by peers, with the nominee either being a member of the Board or a participant in sponsorships. Members of the association vote through the nominations who to award. Other recognitions that the Bell County Bar Association makes include recognizing paralegals, non-profit organizations, and public sectors within Bell County. 

Steve Walden – Attorney of the Year

Steve Walden was named attorney of the year in Bell County Bar Association. As a criminal defense attorney, Walden has built a reputation of getting favorable outcomes for his clients in Bell County criminal courts. In addition, Walden is board certified in family law by The Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to family law, Steve’s practice areas include Military Defense and Criminal Defense. Walden is certified to practice law in Texas, Georgia, and Florida. 

Cassandra Golder – Young Attorney of the Year

Cassandra Golder was named young attorney of the year. Golder is a Killeen-based family law attorney dedicated to helping families through the family law court system. She represents families in Bell County, Coryell County, and Lampasas County. In addition to helping families transition through the divorce and custody arrangements, Golder assists families in expanding their families through the services of adoption, gestational agreements, and other means of assisted reproduction. Golder is currently the president of Bell County Association, after previously serving the Association through other roles.
