The Carlson Law Firm is pleased to announce that eight of our Austin attorneys have been named Austin Monthly’s Top Attorneys. The selection process is done through an online peer-review process that requires the nomination of other licensed attorneys for inclusion in the list. Congratulations to our attorneys!
Todd Kelly: After receiving his Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law in 1995 as a member of the Woolsack Honor Society, while serving as a U.S. Marine, he returned to practice as a criminal defense attorney. Since then, Todd has represented seriously injured people as a licensed attorney in Texas, Virginia, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado.
Nathan Kennedy: After graduating from Ohio State University, Nathan entered the U.S. Army where he earned awards such as the Bronze Star and a National Defense Service Medal. Nathan is accredited in Texas and Colorado and practices primarily personal injury, military law, and federal litigation.
Jaime M. Lynn: Practicing for more than two decades, Jaime has helped countless victims recover millions in damages, including his most recent recovery for a client for a $7.4 million jury verdict in the case Claxton v. Better Logistics Trucking. He is licensed to practice in the state of Texas, the United States District Court-Western District of Texas, and the United States District Court-Southern District of Texas.
Roberto Flores: Knowing from a young age what he wanted to pursue, Roberto graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law. Now he is helping victims of personal injury and was a Project Administrator at The National Hispanic Institute.
J.T. Borah: J.T. has dedicated his practice for the past years to nursing home neglect and abuse cases, becoming a voice to those who are too afraid and physically are unable to speak for themselves. J.T. is actively involved in various professional associations, including The Capital Area Trial Lawyer Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers’ Association (TTLA), in which he was asked to assist them in crafting legislative proposals that relate to the way Texas nursing homes are operated.
Nick Merz: After serving the United States Marines from 2005-2009, Nick decided that he wanted to be dedicated to helping victims of medical malpractice and sexual assault. Nick ensures that his clients receive the damages that they are entitled to, including one of his most notable cases, a $4 million verdict award in Fort Bend County.
Cheryl Powell: Once earning her Juris Doctor from Ohio State University, Cheryl combined her experience and compassion to help her clients in family law.
